Hi All,

What was one dilemma my small businesses experienced? How can I get the media to write about my product?

So I called some successful start ups in my industry to chat with them.  I got all sorts of answers ranging from "I spend $120,000 annually to get coverage".... I have a personal pr writer whom I pay only when something is published"... "I will work for you on an $800 monthly retainer fee" I even got "Your product is hysterical" (that was encouraging)

Frustrated I began thinking it's reminiscent of the chicken or the egg theory. "I need PR to increase my sales" but "I need more sales so I can afford a good PR program" and then "What the heck is PR? I can't do THAT".

Hello all my friends at The Bungalow! Things have been progressing incredibly after teaming up with you in your PR-TO-GO program. I have developed wonderful relationships with writers and editors in a wide variety of publication houses and to that I cannot say thank you enough. It is thrilling to be contacted by the editors of the exact publications I had fantasized about my product line to be place in and hear them say they love what I have created and will have the line in an upcoming issue. It's a dream come true!

When I first received the gorgeous binder you created specifically with Tweak'ms in mind, I was overwhelmed with feelings of how am I going to do this. But you were all so eager to help with such patience and understanding to my new stage in business that as soon as I took my first step I was on a roll. Each day brought more fun and excitement in knowing that I was taking my company on a path of something larger than I could have ever imagined. 

We have received terrific press placement as a result of working in this program with you.  Almost immediately online press came as She Finds Mom called out "toddler-proof" sunglasses perfect stocking stuffers "whether in tropical sunshine or sparkling snow."  Soon followed The Mommy Times who wrote our "more than cute" shades were of their favorite things.  What's Hot for Tots featured Tweak'ms just as spring was about to arrive this year calling our line "the most progressive sunglasses designed" for infants and tots adding "how wonderful to combine safety with fun…I love them too!"  Clever Parents is the next to follow with a feature on their Vidcast.

Tweak'ms Sunglasses just became part of the children's trade publication world and in the coming months, more nationwide magazines will be bringing our line to the minds of families far and wide. The Hampton Sheet is featuring us in their Hot Picks column. Style Magazine savvy shoppers need to take note of what we have to offer. Both Cookie Magazine and Parents Magazine are in the process of photo shoots for their summer issues. 

Many relationships with other companies in the Bungalow family have been established as well. MD Moms, for example, is a company of pediatrician moms asked that Tweak'ms become a part of their new "Life is a Beach Baby" set combining their line of sun care products with one of our styles of sunglasses. They requested our most popular style in their company's specific color-scheme to families be prepared for summer fun.

So, thank you for all of you assistance in helping get me on my way to bringing Tweak'ms Sunglasses out of small-town business and onto the faces of infants and toddlers across the country!
